What: Take a break from work and support Special Olympics Michigan athletes by having a buffet style, BBQ Luncheon, at Lansing’s own Outback Steakhouse Restaurant. Lunch will include BBQ style ribs, chicken, and steak with a side of salad and potatoes.
Cost for this meal is $20 for adults and $10 for children under the age of twelve. All proceeds benefit Special Olympics Michigan athletes.
The Michigan State Police, Lansing Police Department, and Eaton County Sheriff’s Department will be on hand with specialized equipment, including the Emergency Support Team, Dive Team, K9 Unit, Crime Lab, Bomb Squad, SWAT team, Patrol, and Detective Bureau.
This event is being sponsored by the Michigan State Police, Lansing Police Department, Eaton County Sheriff’s Department and the Law Enforcement Torch Run of Michigan. This is a great way to celebrate “Bring Your Kid To Work Day.”
